Rainbow Lake is three miles long, It is completely private- no public access. Fishing is fantastic- it is stocked by the association with perch and walleye. Dock and Boat lifts are allowed.
It is very clean for swimming. It is tested several times each summer for water quality. Sandy bottom in many places. Maximum depth is 45 feet. It is level controlled with a dam, summer fluctuations in water level is only an inch or so.
Jet skis and Power boats are welcome, but not common. Water-skiers are usually on the lake weekend afternoons only- the place is very quiet most of the time. Bald eagles nest in the area, as do Osprey, Herons, and Kingfisher.
A Major Casino is 30 miles away in MT. Pleasant.
