Grandview Lake is a 400 acre "private" lake surrounded by Grandview Woods which is a nature preserve of approximately 1,000 wooded acres, owned by the Grandview Lot Owners Assoc. There are 315 single family lots, a boat launch marina & Association office building. You must own a lot that fronts on the lake in order to have lake access. The association owns & operates a gas pump situated on a boat dock for boaters. The association also owns & operates its own private sewer system and treatment plant. All utilities are available including municipal water, electric, natural gas, telephone, TV cable. The roadway that surrounds the lake is maintained by Bartholomew County. The association also maintains parking areas for the storage of boats & boat trailers and hiking trails throughout the Grandview Woods Nature Preserve. The association is manned by a voluntary group of lot owners (the Board of Directors) who look after the daily duties & operations of the lake community. The association fee is currently $400 annually.
