| The lake is 335 acres in size. It is approximately 18 feet deep at its deepest point. Anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish including Black Crappie, Bluegill, Brown Trout, Large mouth Bass, Northern Pike, Rainbow Trout, Rock Bass, Small mouth Bass, Sunfish, Walleye and Yellow Perch. You can swim in the lake and the water is very clear. Boat docks and power boats are allowed. Nearest airport would be in Land O Lakes, Wisconsin, approximate 6 miles. Airport in Eagle River, Wisconsin, approximately 25 miles. Cities near Tamarack lake are: Watersmeet, Land o Lakes, Wis., Eagle River, Wisconsin, Iron River and Iron Mountain, Michigan. A minimum 1,000 sq. foot home on Lake Side. No trailers or mobile homes are allowed.
