Holly Lake Ranch / Shadow Lake Information

Relaxation, Rejuvenation, and Fun at Holly Lake Ranch

Forty minutes north of Tyler Texas lies Holly Lake Ranch, a resort community dedicated to relaxation and play. Breathtaking East Texas pine forest scenery, a PGA golf course, and five lakes (Holly Lake, Greenbriar Lake, Whispering Wind Lake, Cattail Lake, and Shadow Lake) make this community the perfect place for your next vacation. Rent a Holly Lake Ranch lake house on these pristine shores and get ready for a trip full of relaxation, rejuvenation, and fun.

Relaxation on the Lake

When you rent a Holly Lake Ranch lake house, you are booking a reservation in the heart of serenity. The quiet atmosphere of this gated community combined with the majestic views of lake and piney forest make this the perfect setting to unwind. Whether you want to swim, fish, or just lay out in the sunshine, you’ll find lots of ways to soak up the soothing atmosphere of your lake house rental.

Fun in the Community

The Holly Lake Ranch community comes with many amenities that will make your stay both convenient and engaging. Sports of many varieties have a home here, including tennis, volleyball, mini golf, disk golf, billiards, and shooting. There is a fitness center and paved walking trails, and even a dog park. Over 50 clubs and organizations serve the community and visitors. A restaurant, a bar, and snack shops cater to individuals looking to eat on the go, and community grocery stores provide everything you need for a picnic in the pavilion or a home-cooked meal in your Holly Lake Ranch lake house. One of the biggest draws of the community is the Holly Lake Ranch Golf Course. This 6,784-yard, 18-hole PGA golf course was designed by the late Leon Howard, who built many golf courses in Texas and throughout the United States. It was opened in 1971 and continues to serve the community with excellence.

Rejuvenation in Tyler

Holly Lake Ranch has everything you need for a relaxing and fun vacation right in the neighborhood—you may never want to leave! But if you do decide to venture further afield, you should take a daytrip to Tyler, about 40 minutes to the south. Tyler is nicknamed the “Rose Capital of the World.” It has America’s largest rose garden, and it is home to the Texas Rose Festival in October. The festival started in 1933 as a celebration of the harvesting of the roses, and today many different events have joined the celebration, from outdoor fun and games, to tours of historic homes, to fine arts performances. The Tyler Rose Museum leads into the Tyler Rose Garden. The museum illustrates the history of Tyler’s rose industry and festivals; the rose garden is awe-inspiring in both size and beauty. A whopping 35,000 rose bushes present over 500 varieties of roses throughout the 14-acre garden. There is nothing like walking the stunning garden paths and breathing in the scent of blooming roses to make you feel rejuvenated and connected to the beauty of nature. Tyler is also home to the Rose Spa. If you need a little extra rejuvenation and pampering, spend a few hours indulging in a massage, facial, pedicure, or any of the other spa services they offer.
