Lake Redstone is a man made lake with 2,450 total acres. Construction of the lake started in 1964. Lake Redstone's lake surface area is approximately 650 acres, with 17 ½ miles of shoreline. 4 ½ miles long and approx 45 feet deep in front of the dam. Lake Redstone has no mandatory property owner's association. Lake Redstone is not serviced with water & sewer, each homeowner will have a private well& septic system. Lake Redstone has a 10,000 plus acre water shed to the north from Juneau County that fills the lake. The dam is located at the south end of the lake and has a top draw spillway, all excess water creates a cascading waterfall and flows into the Baraboo River. The lake is located in Sauk County. Lake Redstone has great fishing all year around, and a large area for water sports and winter sports.
