We are hiring a Customer Service Support Specialist

Company Description:

Lakehouse.com has been the #1 lake property online resource for the past 10 years. We are an advertising service for real estate agents and homeowners who have lake property for sale and for rent, with over 13,000 listings nationwide.

Working Environment:

We work out of a home, converted to an office. Ours is comfortable, quiet and casual place to work, surrounded by 2 1/2 acres of trees, shrubs, flowers and a pond. All interaction with our customers is by phone (30%) and email (70%). There is no face to face contact with customers. Location: Arlington, Texas, 76017

Job Description:

Candidate will assist customers with placing their ads online, uploading and editing pictures to the website, answer inbound phone calls, make outgoing phone calls, answer emails, provide technical assistance, analyze member accounts, process credit card payments, answer general questions about our company, pricing, policies, assist with ad changes, etc. We all wear lots of hats here.

Workweek is 40 hrs. Workdays are Monday through Friday, plus 4 hrs on Saturday (once a month)
Work hours can be 8-5, or 8:30-5:30

We provide paid time off for vacation, holidays, sick leave (after 6 months of service). No Medical/Dental benefits. Monthly bonus potential.

Requirements:

Customer Service experience helping customers, phone support is a plus
Computer skills - a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Photo editing and the Internet.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a good speaking voice, personable and helpful attitude
Attendance and dependability is extremely important - if you are chronically late, do not apply
Multi-tasker who can occasionally handle a busy phone environment
Excel spreadsheet manipulation, updating, data entry and analysis
Self-motivated go-getter that can work efficiently with minimal supervision. Must work well independently and with others.
High School Diploma (some college preferred)
Must be authorized to work in the United States
HTML/FrontPage experience is a plus (not required)
Flexibility with job description and tasks - work on special projects as determined by management
Phone sales experience is a plus. There are opportunities for commission sales as additional salary.
