Lake
Eddins Lake is a gated, private 700 acre lake with a volunteer
fire department and clubhouse. Paved roads. Covenants and restrictions.
Abundant deer and wildlife, but no hunting allowed. Lake is located 30
miles S. of Meridian, MS, 10 min. off I-59. Approx. 100 miles from the
MS gulf coast at Biloxi and Gulfport. The lake is designed for
fishing and family recreation. It has a very quite and relaxing
atmosphere. Water-skiing and personal watercraft are not allowed. The
lake has two types of property owners, you can build a cabin over the
water for a weekend retreat or build a permanent home on shore. There
are different covenants for each. The lake has depths up to forty feet.
There is a property owners assoc. which protects the lake environment.
There is an 18 hole par 72 golf course at Quitman, MS, 15 miles from the
lake.

Each resident of the State of Mississippi ages sixteen
(16) to sixty-four (64), fishing in the fresh or marine
waters of Mississippi, including lakes and reservoirs but
NOT to include privately owned ponds and streams, shall
be required to buy a fishing license. All non-resident
anglers, except minors under the age of sixteen (16), are
required to obtain a fishing license while fishing in the
fresh or marine waters of the State of Mississippi.

Lake is stocked with Florida large mouth bass, white Perch and
Bream.
