The Ottertail County area
is not nearly as tourist oriented as the Park Rapids area is.
That makes for more stable businesses, such as restaurants etc.
that are open only during the summer in the high tourist areas.
As such, you can enjoy the vacation-like area without having to
put up with the large amounts of tourists. It is also much
nicer for anyone looking for a year round home.
