Lakehouse.com ad Guidelines and Policies

  • Each ad is for one specific property. Ads for multiple homes, lots, condos etc or your business (in general) are not allowed.
  • ALL CAPS are not allowed in any field.
  • HTML code is not allowed in any field.
    • The following are not allowed in the Description Field
    • A website link/URL, can only be in the Website field. This is so we can count the number of clicks to your website - a valuable statistic for you to be able to determine the value of your ad.
    • The phone number can only be included in the phone number field
    • Your email address should only be in the Email field. This is stored in our database and not displayed on your ad for your protection and privacy. An email address is not allowed in the any other field.
  • You must select an existing State/Lake combination for your ad. If your lake is not in the State/Lake list, please select (pending lake) in your state.
  • TITLE field is limited to 65 characters and is subject to modification (for your benefit) by the administrators of Lakehouse.com.
  • The EMAIL field cannot be modified on your ad. If you need the email address changed on your account, click on the Update Email Address link on your account page.
  • PRICE field can only accept numbers - no $, punctuation or commas
  • The Virtual Tour field must be an actual, direct link to a virtual tour, which is a moving video. Links to websites and photo albums are not allowed and will be removed.
  • To be Featured, your ad must have a nice photo as the first photo, not a drawing or plat, or interior picture. If yours is an ad for a home, an exterior picture or lake view picture is required for your ad to be in the featured column. There is no extra charge for being featured.
  • This ad cannot be changed to a different property. If your property sells, you can update the "For Sale" field to "SOLD". After it is sold, your ad will remain on our website for 3 months for market analysis. If you prefer that a sold property be removed at an earlier date, we will gladly accommodate your request. If you have purchased a 10 or more ad package, you can add a new listing when one sells or goes off the market.

Picture Guidelines

  • Picture-in-a-picture is not allowed. Each photo must be of one photo only and not multiple views.
  • Pictures with additional text added / overlay on the photo is not allowed.

Lakehouse.com reserves the right to reject or modify any ad submission that is not deemed appropriate or does not conform to these policies.
